Who We Are
LAPCAE is Louisiana’s professional home for adult, community, and public educators — a statewide association dedicated to advancing the field and the people it serves. We unite the profession, support our members through professional development and scholarship opportunities, and work to make sure Louisiana understands what adult education makes possible. From the classroom to the Capitol, LAPCAE connects educators, elevates the work, and champions the learners who depend on it.
All LAPCAE members receive membership to COABE. COABE represents the field of 65,000 adult educators and provides a variety of services, including professional development through annual, state-of-the-art national conferences, more than 50 webinars annually, and a peer-reviewed journal.
